My Private Small Mickey Mouse Requires A Place
I don’t understand why so many people have musophobia. They are actually very cute. It is ironic that a lot of people love Mickey Mouse and yet hate rats. They hate rats but they like hamsters. Excuse me, they are of the same family. Rats are Mickeys, only, misunderstood. Giving them food will prevent them from tearing your clothes apart. Or you could give them a house.
Pet rat cages are available in various designs and I’m sure that rats will definitely love it. If you want the same, this is for you.
Most of the cages built are too small. But I do understand that the space is the consideration. As for myself, I am single and have a house, so I am able to give a big space for my pet mouse.
Custom build a house for your pets. Take a cabinet that fits in the corner and make compartments. A lot of custom-made pet rat cages are often built with many layers so that the mouse can roam around as much as they like. This is why most pet rat cages have the tread mill. My own planned rat pad will have four layers. The top most is the sleeping area where I will place two little hammocks and a miniature bed good for both of them. A pipe will lead the mice down to the second topmost level where they eat.
A small opening is present on all layers so that I am able to pet my cuties. The basin for their food and water is going to be located on the second level of their house. I also placed small balls on it that they can play with but that they cannot chew. I will make use of a stair that will lead down to the next level of their house. Here, we find the tread mill and some more non-chewable toys.
The first level is where the rats cannot go. This is where I am going to place their food and other hygiene materials.
But for those who don’t have the space, there are a lot of homey pet rat cages for sale.
An example of this that I saw is a three-feet pet rat cage, complete with a hammock, ramp and an exercise wheel.
You can go to Kmart and search in their “My First Home” department for pet rat cages that can occupy the space that you want.
